Mission

Enterprise Matchmakers, LLC has designed Cubuma.com to help customers find products and services they are looking for, and to provide a marketplace in which businesses can promote those products and services. Customers know what they want. Businesses have what customers need. Our goal is to match them.


Background

In the current marketplace, there are many customers in need of products and/or services and do not know where to find them. At the same token, there are plenty of quality businesses in the local marketplace that provide the product and/or service that the customer is looking for. However, many of these businesses remain unknown to the public, even though the quality of service that they offer is outstanding.

Different mechanisms and techniques are employed by businesses to try and help bridge the gap between the customers and the businesses. Street ads, street signs, community announcements, newspaper ads, signs at the local store, radio ads, word-of-mouth and in some cases, the Internet, are all being used by local businesses as advertising mediums today. While these avenues are proven methods that can help generate leads for a business, the cost associated with running a serious advertising campaign through any of them, except word-of-mouth, is many times way beyond that which a local small business can afford.

Word-of-mouth advertising remains the most reliable way to gain customers in the local marketplace today. Customers respond well to word-of-mouth advertising because the customer not only looks at a general ad for products and/or services which represents a business, but also can take away the experiences that other customers have had at the same location. The word-of-mouth source, or commonly known as referrals, usually is taken from someone or something that can be trusted enough to build faith in the customer that a particular business is the right business to fill his/her needs.

While word-of-mouth is the most reliable source, unfortunately, this source is not always available to everyone. Word-of-mouth advertising is based many times on "who you know" and if the customer doesn't know where to look for that source of information or guidance, then many times, the customer will be forced to settle for what appears to be the best thing. In the end, sometimes the customer is satisfied, and other times, the customer could find out that just blocks away, there was another business that could have better satisfied his/her needs.

Now enter technology and the Internet. With the current growth of the Internet inside most local communities and with the Internet presence continuing to strive and expand, an opportunity exists to try to use the Internet as stable medium to try and help bridge the gap between the customer and the business. A kind of word-of-mouth network online can be created. How? Focus on creating a low to no-cost, comprehensive Web presence for each of the local small businesses, allowing for businesses to present key information to a potential customer to help the customer to make an educated decision about choosing the business that is right for him/her. This information will include the business address, map to location, general summary about services, optional logo of business, url to business web site (if applicable), detailed menu of products and/or services, customer reviews and discount offers and coupons. With this complete set of information, each business will be represented in not only the local marketplace, but also in the Internet space.

It is a fact that businesses that have a Web presence gain more exposure to the public. Period. However, most small businesses in the local communities still do not have a Web presence today. In fact, there are quite a number of mid-sized businesses that are also not in the Web space. This is not by design or the fault of each business. Practically speaking, most times the expenses associated with setting up a Web presence sometimes outweigh what the business would consider a reasonable return on investment in revenue generations from the presence.
